Epoxy injection resin for structural concrete repairs
Two component epoxy injection resin with low viscous properties. It is highly penetrative and cures to form a rigid seal against cracks and joints in concrete. |

How to Use:
- All contact surfaces must be free from oil, grease, free standing water or any loose adherent material. A light grind of the surface adjacent to the crack will help remove any contamination and assist adhesion of the surface seal. All dust must be removed. Running water must be stopped by using suitable material like CRES®PLUG HB, a quick setting water plug mortar.
- It is essential that the mixing instructions are carefully followed to ensure the correct characteristics of the product are achieved. Failure to do so can result in lower performance or even possible failure of the product.
- For preparation of product, properly stir each component A & B separately before mixing together. Pour component B (hardener) into component A (resin) and mix carefully with electric mixer at low number of turns till obtaining a homogeneous mix. It is always recommended to mix a complete kit at a time. Over mixing must be avoided to minimize air entrainment. Once mixed, the material must be used within its pot life.
- CRES®INJECT EI should be applied with standard injecting equipment having closed containers. The Injection Pressure should be at least 3 bar. Use injecting packers which must be inserted into pre-drilled holes along the length of the crack. The distance between packers depends on the crack’s width and depth. • After fixing packers use epoxy mortar to seal between packers to allow the resin to penetrate from one point to the next.
- For crack injection, it is recommended to assign the job to an injection specialist. In case of partial mixing, maintain the proportions in volume. For horizontal cracks pour the product directly. For ceiling and cracks bonding apply the product using a roller or brush.
